How to auto recover in Excel?
Excel has an "AutoRecover" feature that can help you recover unsaved or accidentally deleted files in case of a power outage, system crash, or other unexpected events that can cause Excel to close or crash.
By default, AutoRecover is enabled in Excel, and it automatically saves a copy of your workbook every 10 minutes. If Excel crashes or closes unexpectedly, you can recover your unsaved work by following these steps:
Reopen Excel. If there is an AutoRecover pane that appears, select the recovered file from the list and click "Open".
If there is no AutoRecover pane, go to the "File" tab and click "Open Recent". From there, click "Recover Unsaved Workbooks".
Select the unsaved workbook you want to recover and click "Open".
Save the recovered file to a new location to avoid overwriting the original file.
If you want to adjust the AutoRecover settings, you can do so by going to
"File" > "Options" > "Save".
From there, you can change the time interval for AutoRecover to save your workbook and the location where the backup files are stored.
